Let's start with what being fiscally conservative has to do with whether or not you believe in man made climate change.

Because that’s what the chart says.

Because if you believe one thing, you have to believe this other thing.

And the chart also says once you believe one way, regardless of what science says you can’t change and admit you were wrong or it’s an epic colossal defeat in which you’ve brought shame to your house. Taking your dying breath never admitting you were wrong is the most valiant thing you can do for your party.

AGW science is highly flawed, and often corrupted.

But let's put that aside for now.

Run the costs vs the science, and secondary scientific assessment of spending effectiveness on climate change. What are the numbers? What is the cost? What is the impact?

I'm not sure if I'm convinced one way or the other, but I think it's a bit arrogant to claim that we know everything about such a large macrosystem to the point where we can say that it's undeniable. The solutions to "the problem" have far worse implications for the very people they claim CC affects the most (the poor and 3rd world nations).

Climate change is obviously real. The suggestion we’re causing it is bullshite.

Case in point...an article from a mainstream Archeology magazine my parents subscribe to about searching for submerged sites.

Paleo man must have had a hell of a carbon footprint. This single picture inadvertently debunks EVERYTHING said about mans impact on sea level change...and it’s accepted science.

If you can show one aspect of the argument is a lie - then how are we not supposed to assume the rest is also a lie. Sea level change due to mans influence on the climate is a lie.

I don’t know what is worse...the ignorant people that buy into this or the scientists that damn well know these changes are natural and keep their mouth shut.

If we were really that serious about global warming we would go to war with several Asian countries and immedialty cease all trade with them until they agree to quit polluting the planet. Until then, it’s all just political posteuring

Perhaps this was missed, so I'll post again:

I'm not saying humans are responsible for it but we humans are certainly capable of altering the climate

Can someone just provide a real solution statement to global warming? All I'm hearing is that I need to bike to work and keep my AC off while Mark Zuckerberg needs to fly around in his G650 telling everyone how dangerous global warming is.

Install a thermostat on the sun? Find a way to manipulate a climatic system that is billions of years old?

I don’t think people fully appreciate the scale that we’re dealing with. The earth has been warming since the last ice age - which was about 12,000 years ago. Drawing conclusions from 100 years of climate data is ludicrous.

Plus...when you find that older ice core data is being “massaged” and that this may be the most life friendly temperate time we’ve experienced in millennia - these arguments are laughable.

Sure- we need to do everything we can to lessen pollution and our impact on the environment. But to scare everyone to try and steal tax dollars is a damn crime.
