So what, do we send in our entire army and do a ground invasion? Keep in mind they can wipe out the ability of our client states in the region to produce water in a day by attacking their desalinization plants and we have no plan to address that while keeping the strait closed to oil shipments.
Is it such a grave threat that we nuke them off the map? Because they *might* nuke Israel?

Trump has changed his position on what? For over 20 year, Trump has said that Iran can never have a nuclear weapon. Oh, they are just shocked that he went through with his promise

Iran is a huge and complex country with different religious factions, secular factions and business interests. If the regime goes, which is highly unlikely, those remaining interests will fight for power. Politically and violently most likely.
This action was poorly timed and not thought out at all. No one has a clue where it's headed.
The threat to us, is now the politics of how the Iran action plays here over time. Not Iran itself. Trump bet it all on a stupid ill timed bombing with unknown outcome. I mean everyone knew the epic fury would be incredibly impressive but then what?
This was a Graham, Bolton, Cheney, Bush action. The same clowns that have been wrong for decades. Ridiculed here for 15 years. Now it's smart? Give me a break.

Is any level of criticism of the nation state of Israel acceptable or based on your reasoned perspective is criticism in any form of their foreign policy by definition "jew hate"?
Am I racist when I criticize Russian foreign policy in Ukraine?
