It won’t matter at all because no Bishop will do anything. If they haven’t excommunicated him for facilitating abortions, they will not excommunicate him for being a Mason. They will likely have an out by saying it’s honorary.

What's funny to me is the only thing "secret" is how to tell a real Mason from a fake one.

I don’t think the Church took an official position until the 1700’s. They’ve reaffirmed several times since, and I suspect it has much more to do with the reasons I quoted than anything with a dead French king in the 1300’s.
Look, I’m not judging anyone here. But I am saying Freemasonry is not compatible with the church. And the church is clearly against it, despite some self-identified Catholics being members.

What did he do for a living? Blame them. They gave him the money to support these bad habits.
This much I know, I was stood in the NW corner facing everyone else and I was given specific directions on how I was expected to conduct myself since becoming a Mason. Those directions were more than I could live up to but parallel the teachings of the bible. I'm a better man for at least trying.

Forty year MM here. 71 years a baptized Catholic. Past Master of 2 different lodges. Never heard anything anti-Catholic in all those years. Also nothing pro-Satanic. We have Catholic, Protestant, and Jewish members in our lodge. I can tell you this: I have never had explain how or why a Masonic Lodge or Mason protected, hid, or covered up sexual abuse of children. I can not say the same for leaders of my Church.

Just wanted to add that all denominations and civic/social organizations are made up of mortal humans. Some members are righteous, some are not. I have no plans to abandon the Church or the Fraternity. I will let God judge me. Not some random poster on a message board. You do you.
