I didn't request the sticky, so I'm as surprised as anyone, but Paul Sperry isn't just "one dude".
He's an extremely well-respected member of the DC reporting crowd who isn't allergic to actual journalism.

I'm sure than next Tuesday, or some other time that the confirming information drops on this story to our boo-birds' satisfaction that proves Sperry was well ahead of the curve, HHTM or someone similar will repost the slow on the draw sauce and take a victory lap with the "developments".

Sperry is definitely in the know. I trust him more than most DC "journalists". If he puts out information then it will more than likely come to fruition.
