I’m not a Biden fan by any means, but if the audio being sought is really just his sessions with his ghost writer, I’m not sure why those should have to be made public. I get that they were reviewed as evidence in an investigation, but still.
I’m sure his legal team would have responded differently when they were produced the first time they were requested if they thought they’d be made public in the future.
His big problem now is that by suing, he is showing that these tapes must be absolutely brutal.
If Trump ever speaks with a ghost writer, those should stay private as well. We shouldn’t support a bad policy just because we like how it’s being applied in one specific instance.
