If gas is so much cheaper, explain to me why for the first time since probably 2009 I have been going to the gas pump and thinking about whether or not it was financially responsible for me to fill up or whether I would need any money until payday.

It is unclear where the picture was taken or when, but AAA currently lists Mississippi as the state with the cheapest average gas, at $2.666 per gallon, slightly more than the price shown in the image.

Its crazy that in 4 years under trump appointments, the FBI continued to terrorize the country.
Obama could somehow fundamentally change America in 2-3 years, Trump couldnt stop his own agencies from sabotaging its own citizens. Including himself.

Well hell yes the FBI was stoking the flames. The FBI wanted Trump gone. He rolling over to many logs and finding to many critters that the three letter gangs did not want uncovered. Yes, Donald Trump did inherit low gas prices ($2.52 avg in 2015 and $2.25 avg in 2016) because the economy was on the verge of a recession. The manufacturing sector was in a recession right at the end of 2015 and into 2016.

Gasoline averages then rose to $2.80ish for 2018, as the economy was back rolling then, and into 2019. The Covid hit and economies crashed in 2020.
Only two periods since March of 2009 have gasoline prices averaged under $2 per gallon.
From January 11 to March 14, 2016, with the U.S. economy on brink of a recession (maybe one did occur).
Under President Obama.
From April 6 to June 1, 2020, with the U.S. economy turned upside down due to the effects of Covid.
Under President Trump.
