July headline number was +156k
After further calculations it came in at +142k?

Yes it was lower for last month.

Not this month.

If things don’t change soon, and change drastically, this recession may not get off the ground.

Where I have lived the last 27 yrs yesterday was the first time I have seen three help wanted signs posted at once in store windows in my tiny town of 1500 pop.

The lumber mill also expanded and just opened a new glue-lam section. Now they can make giant glu-lam beams with very mall diameter lumber.

It’s good that it beat expectations. Below 200k is probably stagnant to mild decrease of labor participation rate.

Why would he respond “always”?

You are saying that because he said "always", he thinks that a positive number being revised into a smaller positive number somehow means a negative number?

Or maybe you just perhaps mis-read him the first time, and responded too hastily?

All I did was press you for an explanation for whatever you were suggesting but not explaining. Don't be mad at me just because we can now see that it was nonsensical.

Which I explained. You on the other hand continue to blindly defend an interpretation of what he meant with no more explanation from the source than I have. At least my comment was directed to the source with for a chance to explain. You see that's the problem with people like you. You need so desperately to be the contrarian that you just challenge on semantics and verbiage and never truly make a point. It's okay to not be a complete dick 100% of the time. Why not cut it back to 80% and see how that feels for a little while.
