It's not unforgivable nor is he a leftist loon. I don't condemn him I just disagree. He is from another country and says what he thinks with few if any filters. He is a very valuable ally and anyone at this point that wishes to kick him to the curb is not an ally of mine.

No one wants cuts in spending.

There is a different way but people don't want to deal with bankruptcies and banks don't want to deal with charge offs.
Bankruptcies and charge offs are considered socially bad as they should be but they are a quick and efficient way to get rid of economic malinvestment.
We like to smooth out malinvestment through insidious taxation, like income taxes and the hidden tax of inflation. Taxation and inflation are planned. It is a policy of our federal government through central bank tools to inflate the currency.
No one likes to go cold turkey on malinvestment. So here we are.

Don't know it it's been posted already, but Batya was on Bannon this morning, and Bannon is "damn the torpedoes, full steam ahead" to whack Musk and his Program. It will be impossible to defend the layoffs of American workers to hire cheaper and supposedly more qualified Indians.
Nobody would condemn Indians for wanting to leave their severely overpopulated and 'dirty' Nation, but if the stats re the replacement of Americans who are kicked to the curb are brought out, Bannon wins hands down. Regardless of Elon's billions and/or X power.
Bannon is right, and just like with the Budget, shut it ALL down and start from the bottom up. And I support this from a Christian perspective believing that as a prosperous and God-based Christian Nation, we indeed should respect and defer to the kind of merciful judgments and actions that we hope for from Jesus re our next life. Otherwise, we "reap what we sow".
This can be finessed by wise and good-hearted leadership. And the possible High Tech that is in our near future can lift the whole of Humanity in ways that were fantastical pipe dreams just a half century back. Or we can go down throwing.

My post history reflects this from way back, but I've always held hope that when we weigh the cost in pain, and step up to the 'edge', cooler heads will prevail. Albeit Marxist don't really care about loss of lives, as the historical record undeniably reflects.
I think it is like MAD (Mutually Assured Destruction); the Dems/Fascists must realize like that Video we watched and debated ("Why the Right will win the coming Civil War") that they will lose a street fight. And likely be held mercilessly accountable for the carnage required to establish a functional civil society.
I hate to bring Religion into the dynamic, but I can't help it. I am inclined to be biased re the Eschatological Prophetic Narrative as such relates to the "second coming", in the Book of Revelation. Guess we'll find out pretty quick.
