So let me get this straight, Sessions wants to imprison people who provide medical marijuana to sick elderly people in need?

Seriously? frick him, and frick the GOP for reigniting this costly and misguided war on drugs.

Republicans are supposed to be fighting for smaller government, less government spending and more personal liberty. But they don't. It is high time the GOP drops this religious-right moral agenda. Who cares if adults want to smoke pot or dudes want to marry other dudes. They need to embrace libertarian values.

And while they are at it, actually put into place policies that help middle class Americans instead of this charade that in actuality only helps corporations and the extremely wealthy. We can't count on the Dems to do this. We must rely on the Republican's for this and regardless of what people here think Trump will not help. He is not fighting the establishment, he is not fighting the two party system, he is not draining the swamp.

We need a true third party candidate to come to power or the complete demolition of the GOP or Democratic party as we know it.

Sessions wants to enforce the laws. That's his job.

In this case, he wants Congress to change the law so he can continue his quixotic battle to end the scourge of marijuana (and other, less dangerous drugs like heroin).

More shite I don't understand why it is the way that it is.

Many years ago when I was growing up I was astounded to find out that not every elementary school gets the same amount of money for each student.

About the same time in my life I found out that some drugs that can help people medically aren't allowed to be prescribed.

What? How in the hell can any substance that is needed to help someone denied to them???

I am not for the legalization of drugs, not even weed. But it is insane to not allow it for legit medical use but a doctor can prescribe all sorts of more powerful stuff.

This planet is run by crazy people!

No, Sessions wants to change the federal law to allow him to prosecute activities that are legal under state law.
