Trump: I have brokered peace deals between Israel and four Arab nations without a Palestinian state
When Trump left office in 2021, I continually tried to remind people about this.
And it's office they have played a big part in the de facto coalition against Iran this week.
They are deserving of a Nobel Prize.

Well keep not firing off nukes, so something is working, no?

Vance is by far my favorite member of this cabinet.

I'm no expert, but I did recently see discussion about this from a nuclear scientist.
Apparently the first ones they would be able to make would be so large they would only be able to be dropped by a large bomber plane. Of which they don't have the technology or capability to do.
The tech has to advance quit a bit in terms of minimization before you can put them on rockets and such. Things like suitcase bombs and what not are completely off the table. You'd need a semi to haul it.
So even if they were to have enough enriched uranium to make a bomb, they mostly would have only been able to test it and it would be years before they could actually use them as a weapon.
The bigger issue is that while we may destroy the actual centrifuges and equipment, their advancements and what they've learned remains. Isreal fricked up their centrifuges back in 2020 with a cyber attack for example. But the research and advancements they made remains. So if/when they start back up it's not like they are going to be enriching at 10% rate or whatever, they'll likely be enriching at the same rate as last week.
Some value in that we've delayed them a bit. I mean if they were close to testing, then that was denied etc. But you're going to be hearing the same crap 6 month to a year from now unless something else changes.
And I'm not even sure how much damage we did. It seems to be impossible to tell because it was so deep in the mountain.
