JD Vance Urges GOP Unity Despite Iran Policy Disputes

In a Tuesday interview on The Megyn Kelly Show, while promoting his new memoir Communion, Vice President Vance defended the broad coalition—from Joe Rogan and Tucker Carlson to hawkish voices like Podhoretz—that helped elect Trump.
He directly addressed Podhoretz's frustration over the administration's less aggressive stance on Iran's nuclear program, insisting no one should quit the party over disagreements.
The remarks highlight GOP tensions between America First skeptics of intervention and those pushing a harder line, as Vance stresses unity for governing the nation.

Rogan has stayed the course in his opinions. The others not so much.
We can clearly see who can be bought.
That said, Joe is compromised to some degree by someone as he steers clear of certain topics regarding the Jews.

I never said he was bought, I said compromised.
He might have been told. There’s a big difference. Ari is very clear on Joes show about the feelings of that faith. It’s not hidden.

Looks like JD is the rare voice trying to keep the GOP unified.
The warring factions within the GOP all seem to believe THEY will be the one to eventually take over the party and then also beat the Democrats.
Sounds like JD knows better.
We’re a long, long ways removed from Reagan’s old commandment of “Thou shall not speak ill of any fellow republican”.
I know the Democrats certainly welcome the infighting and hope it continues.

I don't know if you've noticed it or not but most partisans on this board disagree so much that they absolutely hate anyone who disagrees with their finer points. If it's like that here, it's gonna a little like that in government.

Vance hinted in the interview with MK that part of the deal is for Iran to no longer fund Hezbollah. That they aren't getting any money if Hezbollah is still funded. He's hinted a couple of times today that Iran proxies shutting down is in the agreement.
