When he made the Trayvon Martin statement, he pushed race into a local issue (how come he never made that comment about black gangbangers?).

I was watching the press conference live when a reporter asked about the Henry Gates issue in Cambridge. When Obama said he didn't have all the facts, I expected the next words out of his mouth to be "So no comment, thank you". My jaw dropped when he said "it's fair to say, the police acted stupidly". All he knew was that his friend Gates is black, and the responding officer was white.
