While it sounds all mysterious and cool I don’t believe there is any massive negative thing being created right under the surface. I think the left just really is that dumb, those issues aren’t smoke screens for something more sinister.
But alas politics has turned into LARPing ever since 2016 so sure I’ll go with it.

The massive negative thing has already happened and what we are seeing today is just some of the fallout so far. The US gov't is no longer in the control of the people or the peoples representative. The Constitution is no longer an instrument to protect the people from the government because people did not believe in the slippery slope.
Now, unfortunately, if the corrective actions are taken to return this country to the people, a majority will mistakenly view those actions as totalitarian because the government would have to pull back on many ill gotten privilege's that a far majority now mistaken for constitutional rights.

Wrong. FedNow has nothing to do with digital currency in the sense of if being an alternative to the dollar, like crypto. FedNow is a technology upgrade to move money.
In a dumbed down simple explanation, its the same technology that you use for Zelle and other money transfer tools many people use today from their phones. What people do not know is that behind the scenes of their bank are hundreds of fintech services that provided by other private technology companies. FedNow is nothing more than the federal reserve upgrading to the same technology and being able to offer those same type services that will make banking even easier.
There are some hybrid crypto platforms making there way into the banking system but its all based on deposit accounts and for the purpose of real time transfer of funds. Not sure what the advantages of this system will be becauce FedNow will allow for processing of Real Time transfers.
