SFP, I would agree that this case is the weakest but I fear this one more than the documents case is where the biggest barrage will come from because the potential penalties are so much greater.

However in this case, Trump could take a situation wherein if he just held his tongue he could walk but he will continue to trip over his own dick.

Everything they've tried has been filled with a comedy of errors. It's why I don't understand either side getting worked up over any of this. It's all for show. Nothing more.

I'm beginning to develop a new take on this whole thing. It's becoming rather obvious to everyone, despite media attempts to hide or disguise it, that Biden is, and has been, in China's pocket for some time. (To quote/paraphrase Roger Waters: "Every man has his price [Joe], and yours was pretty low.")

China is actively engaged in bringing about the downfall of the United States. Biden, and many, many others, have been on the receiving end of China's gifts of late. If that news makes it to the mainstream and the facts come out, they are literally and legitimately at risk of being hanged.

This ain't just Joe and his DOJ calling the shots. This is China and its paid employees (both elected officials and bureaucrats) within our federal government doing everything within their power to prevent being exposed.

This s*** runs a whole lot deeper than I think any of us ever considered, and it's pretty damned hard to comprehend it even now. We aren't waking up from a nightmare these days. We're waking up INTO a nightmare.

Our nation's government and security is severely compromised, and our very sovereignty is at grave risk.

He along with the majority of the public believe he is the legitimate president. No head in the sand needed.

Because anyone with even a bit of honesty knows Biden didn't get 81M legit votes.

The level of seethe and cope on these threads is wild. Out in the open.

Trump's guys think they have something exculpatory. The prosecutor doesn't. Will a jury think so? I guess we'll find out.

This isn't a Brady violation, which is a huge deal, as undisclosed Brady material will result in a prosection being overturned. Because of Brady prosecutors take a very expansive view of what could be exculpatory and send everything to the defense.

This expansive interpretation of what is exculpatory won't apply in reverse. The prosecutor can take a more objective view of material sent by the defense, since the defense already has it, and there's no risk.

This case is going to harm Trump more than the others combined. Regardless of whether he is convicted, it will come out that he never believed he won the election and has been lying to fundraise off the outrage.

Is he seriously going to go with a first amendment/ineffective counsel line of defense? Or is that just another lie to get the rubes to give up more money?

Allegedly the prosecutor didn’t even look at what was provided.

Nobody said it was. It is a breach of his prosecutorial duties according to the DOJ manual, though.

This is pure speculation on your part. It may turn out to be the exact opposite. He will be able to finally present the evidence in court where in the past they have not.

It appears you are over obsessed with calling any comment that could be construed as negativity towards a Jew as anti-semitic.

That is not how it works bro. People can say whatever they want about whom or whatever they want.

Just don't yell "fire" in a theater or scream I dropped an ice chest full of raw pork chops in a synagogue.

And it's amazing how most of the lawyers on here can't even agree on what this all adds up to be. It is 100% down political lines 1) Trump haters and 2) Trump non-haters or supporters.

Heck I figured one of them could tell me if a special council must look at exculpatory evidence prior to a grand jury.

I've decided that many are going back to their law school days because all they do is family law or real estate.

There is no 'independence' about any part of this prosecution.

It is everything as horrible as any 2 bit dictator in any banana republic. It's an insult to banana republics.

That is an explosive allegation buried in the New York Times...

Why are they silent about their own reporting that Joe Biden wanted to see a January 6th indictment of his chief political rival?"
