If the same issue would matter in either direction, it’s probably a real issue.

That’s what happens when you have limited social skills. You lash out at people who you deem inferior to you.

The user does know his/her shite. But that doesn't excuse the God complex. A horrible physician. Also one who is likely to be absolutely rigid in their beliefs. Medicine is a science and as such should be open to changing with new information. The "good doctor" there is unlikely to embrace change. Evident in his/her posts.

Yeah, that’s fair. Setting tone aside, the comparability issue still seems like the crux.

Are you taking just a specific vaccine or all vaccines including small pox and polio?

To be honest, I haven't even digested this information yet. I skimmed through from the back first and was wondering why folks were calling him out. Saw why and jumped in. He/she was out of line.
If you're a doctor and you're actually interested in truth, why would you act like that? There is no call for it. I understand it when we are talking politics. People's biases get in the way of their reason. But we are talking science here. Why would anyone who calls themselves a "scientist" have such a flippant and disrespectful attitude?

I think you should ask him. He has told it before and I think it might be instructive for others as well.

He/she is presumably reading this just the same as you are.
By all means, "crazy4lsu", explain to us why you act like frickin prick to people on the internet.
Further, please tell us you don't display this same God Complex with your patients.

Is there any need to go here? Do you not see that shite like this can only hurt your (the medical industry) cause?
Sure, I can see how one would think that. But why can't I just be my own person, not representative of the profession, but someone who is deeply frustrated at the inability for the actual boring science to penetrate anti-vaccine rhetoric? I can recite the science in great detail, but what obviously persuades me will not persuade others. The conundrum is that in this situation, you can perceive how my rhetoric can be harmful to the profession and in the same instance, I can perceive how harmful the rhetoric is to the profession and to the public. What moves me is that fact. I've written pages and pages on immunology, plenty of posts where I don't use any pejoratives and I don't think those posts have moved anyone, certainly not the skeptics. What, unfortunately, does tend to get engagement is the drive-by posts I do when I'm usually walking somewhere and want to be on my phone like everyone else.

Thank you for the thoughtful reply.
But I ask again, do you have this same flippant and disrespectful attitude with your actual patients?

Giving children the Covid “vaccine” is one of the most abhorrent things in modern history

Of course not. Like I said, what generally gets the most engagement on this forum is me being a drive-by a-hole.

Weren't we vaccinated as kids so we could have these discussions as adults?
Am I missing something?

This is absolutely true. Regardless of your vax/anti-vax stance. The data clearly showed that this virus was pretty much harmless to kids. And this was BEFORE the vax rollout. The mandates were a crime against humanity and that cannot be argued against.

So I ask again, can you not see how this attitude constitutes a net negative for your profession overall?
Why do it?
I bet you're an alcoholic, aren't you?
