My sister was hospitalized with Covid. She tried to get Ivermectin when she co tracked it and could not. She got very sick was in the hospital for almost a week. They wanted to put her on a ventilator and giv her Remdesivir, but she refused. She eventually turned it around.
I wonder how many people tried to get it and were refused?

Citizens in Africa can buy Ivermectin (3mg and 12mg) tablets over the counter without prescription.

my mom was on her deathbed, she has advance Alzheimer’s and lives in Mexico (thank god)
She got COVID and nothing was working, as a last resort I bought ivermectin at the pharmacy in tablets and I gave her the first dozes on a Saturday, by Monday she was almost herself, by Wednesday she was back to normal!!
Ivermectin saved my moms life so I call bullshite

Ivermectin as a potential treatment preceded vax availability by 8-10 months.

Not just refused - outright shamed by their doctors for deigning to request it. Of course, it came out later that there were cash bounties for doctors if compliance milestones of "vaccinated" patients were met within a given health system. I can't imagine that factored into the equation.
