Wrong. If you have children regardless of where they wrre born you get free food programs in school, wIC, etc. .
Illegals can also get free or reduced health care at clinics and emergency rooms.

Immigration. Apparently most on here think it's about votes.
But the bigger picture is the declining birth rate and the U.S. population becoming older. If the population keeps getting older and the working population shrinks as a percentage of the total population, our productivity will decline, like what has happened in Japan.
The replacement birth rate in the U.S. is 2.1 births per woman. Last year the birth rate was 1.9. The white birth rate was 1.7.
The number of Americans 65 and older is expected to nearly double by the middle of the century when they will make up more than a fifth of the nation's population.
That combination is unworkable. The U.S. population needs to get younger. One way for that to happen is through immigration, especially younger immigrants.
You may not like it, but it is what it is.

In the political realm, everything is about votes.
As recent as 10 years ago Democrats were anti illegal immigration. Now, clearly they are not

You did imply it. He said the man was worried about losing his culture. You called that white supremacy. I asked why every time a white person values their culture they are considered a white supremacist.

He basically said that the white population is declining at a high rate. The hispanic population is climbing at a super fast rate.
Its not that. Its that our government schools are turning out a labor workforce that can't compete. Combine that with our generous welfare system and you get what we got.
These poorer countries have people that are hungrier for work. And before you tell me that "its because they'll work for cheaper" that's not it either, wages are set buy what the consumer is willing to pay. Its that immigrants are just more willing to work.
