They will have full control for as long as we allow them to cheat in elections. There will never be another Republican controlled government when the "public " elects candidates like Biden, Harris and that mongoloid they just elected in Pennsylvania.

Kind of disagree… my theory is that They’ll use additional power to continue to “fortify” elections and try to nationalize them, making them unbeatable.

Exactly. You can vote communism in, but you can't vote it out.

Why do you think Trump went for those terrible candidates in Penn., Ga., and elsewhere?
Thump's a lot of things, but none outweigh conniving!

The “right” says this every time. Losing isn’t winning. Or strategic.

The “republicans” will never win a national election unless the voting systems are overhauled in MI, WI, PA, AZ, and GA. They were not overhauled after 2020 - and Turtle and Ryan just conceded the ground to them to keep Kemp in there.

It just will not happen.

Mitch McConnell cannot go into the hood and harvest “mail in votes.”

The “message” is irrelevant. The “messenger” of the party irrelevant.

Democrats are wrong about everything. They are toxic. But it doesn’t matter if it’s Trump, Desantis, Mike Pence, Nikki Haley, or the ghost of John McCain - he who counts the votes, wins.

It’s over Baws. Our country is over.
Hard to disagree with any of that. Don't think I have felt this despondent since 9/11. I listened to this this morning:

No. The idea that losing = winning is what losers do. It is the ultimate "cuck" attitude. "If I let my wife f*ck other dude, she'll appreciate me more" is the path to divorce.

The results will speak for themselves...the people need to feel it more in their pockets...thats what gets their attention
If the last two years didn't do it, almost nothing will. This wasn't an issues election.

How does it feel to be completely unable to do anything about it?

I love this board...its therapeutic but also depressing reading everyday what's happening to our country...

He certainly can go into the suburbs and harvest inactive republican registrants.

If the Dems have 51 Senators or 50, there’s no difference except that with 51, Kamala doesn’t vote unless Manchin or Sinema votes with the GOP and there is 50/50 split. If Manchin and Sinema don’t cave on the filibuster, nothing changes. The Dems will still get Biden’s appointments approved unless there is a really bad one. I hope the GOP can get the House to stop really bad spending or tax bills.

The Republican base needs to purge its cancer

Its not Trump...who is the problem

I'm starting to come around to Trump AND the establishment being the problem.

At least at 9/11 I still had faith that our system was the best in the world and would always keep what was important to its success - faith, family, freedom - a priority.

I am so demoralized right now bc I think it’s really over. The constitution is over.

The barbarians have stormed the gates. We’ve been taken over by the mob. It’s done.

there was never much i could do about it. i just try to follow God, do what's right accordingly and things will be what they will be. I have faith, but not in man. if you believe in eternity, that's means eternity started at your conception. this isn't our last stop. one way or another.

Agreed!

My worry and depressed thoughts are a battled ridden concern for my children's future...and my own desire to retire comfortably...

I have what I need...decent health...

But I'm growing weary of working...paying taxes and college for my 2 teens..while our government spends and wastes

... society says...white married males are a threat to our Democracy.

There are days I say Lord I'm ready...

I may need to fast from this board...

Thank goodness for sports! Beer and music

I agree. Having both the House and Senate just provides fuel to blame Rs for everything.
