I am glad I won't be around to fully see what destruction they are doing to this country. Not that I am planning to go soon but I am getting closer to 80's.

They aren't "fumbling" anything. This is what they do. They are controlled opposition that will forward the leftist movement no matter what. The producers are here to be milked by the Uniparty.

They argue over it.

...and then 3 or 4 Republicans vote no on it.

He’s actually strong. He’s just strong for the donors which is bad for the GOP voters.

His vote either got bought out or he’s being blackmailed. Why else would he vote against his party and basically give the middle finger to his constituents?

The SAVE America Act has ADVANCED in the US Senate, 51-48

The motion to proceed in the Senate passed, which is good news. Unfortunately, it's the first of two procedural hurdles.

The Cloture vote on the bill itself, necessary under current Senate procedures, to end debate and move to a final vote, still needs 60 votes...which the GOP d/n have.

That's where this effort will die unless the GOP nukes the zombie filibuster and moves to a talking filibuster that will make the Dems hold the floor of the Senate, speaking 24x7 while in session, to keep the Cloture vote from occurring... which still requires 60 votes.

The only way this effort overcomes these hurdles is to scrap the 60 requirement and go with a simple 51-vote majority.

I suspect we'll get there, but it will be a dogfight until we do.

If not, Trump may well be forced to take a different route to secure the upcoming November election and beyond

He doesn’t care about his voters other than getting re-elected… he cares about the people he answers to: his donors.

His donors don’t want this so he’ll kill it by whatever means necessary.

Amazing

...and they can't get Thune out of the way in order to do what the Dems eventually plan on doing anyway.

This party sucks.

It will pass one way or another...Trump said months ago that if it didn't pass that there was another way. When it does, Elon will get involved.

Sounds like voters need to vote for better congressional representation.
