As far as the plaquenil, it's not proven beyond some mediocre studies that aren't very reliable. I was excited about it and facilities I contract with were using it in combination from the start and it demonstrated little difference whether used early or later in the progression. That said, governors should not be "banning" or otherwise regulating its use by a doctor.

Rep. Guy Reschenthaler (R-PA) told Breitbart News this weekend that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi would rather investigate President Donald Trump again than focus on the actual origins of the Chinese coronavirus and U.S. tax dollars that went to the Wuhan Institute of Virology from which intelligence officials increasingly believe the virus leaked.

We have a R gov and had stay at home orders that just funneled people to Lowe’s and grocery stores. Other than sit down eat in restaurants, my life didn’t change all that much.

You said states were ripping away liberties. I recall states with republican governors issuing stay at home orders and closures of nonessential businesses. Seems there are some liberties being taken away there.

By the early 1900's rich people learned that they could buy our politicians and parlay it into fortunes. By 1990 foreign countries realized the potential, and have been buying Bushes, Clintons and Obamas for gazillions of dollars. Before that the Saudis were the only ones who had figured it out.
I agree that the Dems are in the Chinese and Russian pockets, but so are the republicans. Vote for outsiders whenever possible. Also, insist that your representatives will repeal the special privileges that congressmen get.
