The people being referenced haven’t necessarily said, verbatim, that they’re “setting out midterms,” but rather it’s an extrapolation made from said people in their blatant, open and eager trashing of Republican candidates and other Republican individuals.

You’ve been listening to MSM, they always go gloom and doom before elections.
This place has been invaded by likely paid reddit bots for a few months as well.
And then you have the panicans.
Its not as bad as you are thinking nor as good as we want. Most elections will be fine its finding the ones where the left is working hard to steal, and with both house slim margins it doesn’t take a lot of stealing to make a difference.
Almost daily we read about arrests from illegal voting. We have deported a lot of votes and that might help.
Talk to your friends and make sure they get out and vote. We have the numbers if we actually get out and vote.
Think we’ll be pleasantly surprised and keep both houses.

True, and many people do like I do and give them the opposite of what they intend to do. Especially republicans. To pollsters I'm a straight democrat, in real life I haven't voted for one democrat in decades.
