It's going to be ridiculous. I'm sure Trump knows that whenever he declares the economy is open the left will pitch a fit.

Just wait until Trump says get back to work and governors like the ones in Michigan and Kentucky tell their citizens they have to still stay home or else be drawn and quartered.

You do realize that trump has never actually issued a federal stay at home order, don’t you? You can thank the state governors for that.

Gonna be a shitshow whatever he does.

Open it back up, and them go batshit crazy - they seem to enjoy that kind of thing, anyway.

I can't wait for more liberal tears when the stock market soars past its pre-corona numbers before the election...

Due to JBE’s stances on guns and abortion, I seriously doubt he gets his talking points from the DNC, if that is what you are implying. I don’t think the DNC is 100% ra-raing this virus, either. But enjoy thinking what you want.

Yes, these governors trying to raise their profile are going to be a turds. You can add Northam from VA in there too.

I intend to have a personal shite show in the bathroom after I drown myself in hot wings and draft beers at my favorite local joint and tip the waitress $100. The sooner the better as far as I'm concerned.

(ra-raing????)

So you're saying you think he'll not extend the April 30 timeline? I disagree based on what I've heard him say .. I pray he doesn't but ...

He won't declare the "economy is open".
He'll let it start happening...staying out of the way of states doing what they see fit, and then, later, just notice it and point out the progress, and then give credit to the people.
He's too smart to take the "Declare it open" bait.

It is a shite show no matter what he decides. He waits too long, the economy is gashed. He declares it too early, the narrative will be that he doesn't value human life. Blah Blah.

I am not saying he will or he won’t, but I don’t think he will bow to political pressure either way. He is not a darling of the Democrat party. He inherited a mess from Piyush, but he also sought the job, knowing what was in store.

He won't -- I don't think -- take the lead at all. I think he'll see what other D governors do. I mean, why not just follow what POTUS says??
