Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-Mo.) called Fox News a “state-owned news channel” while criticizing the news outlet's impact on voters in her state days after her reelection defeat.

“It’s time we all quit dancing around what is now a state-owned news channel,” McCaskill told the New York Times.

She said she would walk into restaurants in Missouri and see Fox News running footage of the migrant caravan traversing Mexico toward the U.S. border. LINK

I thought socialists supported state-owned media, such as NPR which provides our society with such a wonderful service?

It's like she doesn't see the irony there.

But no comment on the 24/7 Trump bashing by CNN, MSNBC, CBS, ABC, etc.

These people have a fricking monopoly on major media outlets except one and they're bitching because they don't have total control.

Hell, half of Fox isn't even MAGA

She seems completely oblivious to the fact that Fox News was the FIRST major outlet to project the Dems taking the House.

EDIT: Sorry, I said Senate at first, corrected.

I voted for Hawley

Claire is more moderate than most people realize. She voted with Republicans just over 44% of the time. Some of the Senators on the left voted with the GOP less than 10%.

Hawley may not be a good Senator, because he might vote straight down party lines. Manchin, Doug Jones are both in the 60’s, and Rand Paul is around 75%.

I hate when politicians vote down party lines there needs to be more moderate’s and politicians that can make up their own minds and not just vote how the party wants you to.

I’ve met Claire in a private setting with some my wife’s colleagues. She is very funny and has a great sense of humor. The reason I didn’t vote for her was because I don’t believe she was writing or getting her own bills through. I liked her personally, but she has been there 12 years and I feel like she did not get enough accomplished. I thought we should give somebody else a chance and if Hawley is worthless vote him out.
