It seems there is a chess game going on with the Warrant being unsealed.

Article suggest that they are giving Trump a chance to approve or not
I mean, his attorney asked for it...
so what does this mean or imply?
Why would Trump not okay it being unsealed?

It’s not the warrant that matters. It’s the affidavit.

I thought it was Judicial Watch that requested the unsealing. If so, then Trump would have a right to object to the unsealing.

How do you release the affidavit without giving up your ci? Supposedly a mar a Lago insider.

A warrant is issued based upon an affidavit of probable cause. The affidavit lays out the evidence and the cause for the search. The actual warrant is just an order.

Trump's lawyer could notify the court that they are ok with unsealing both with an e-mail. Yet we have yet to hear from Trump.

The warrant is just a standard piece of paper stating they have permission to search and who it's signed by. It DOESN'T state why they have asked for or need the warrant. That is in the Affidavit.

Warrants specify what and where to make the seizure. They do not outline the Probable Cause. We need to see the PC Affidavit to know what this is really about.

Looks like Scripps, abc and others have made. Motion to have all supporting probable cause affidavits to also be unsealed. Doj has until Monday to respond. I presume Trump has the same deadline on the affidavits
