But is it “no” indicator as OP suggested?

Of course not

I'd just say it's one of the least important metrics in the short term. In the long term it becomes much more important.

I agree but that has not changed our economy.

We don’t have a balanced budget. Every dollar sent over seas is a dollar printed which devalues the dollars you have. Don’t be dumb.

I am telling you that sending billions of dollars to Ukraine and Israel while Americans are hurting is a losing proposition for the Republican Party.

Agreed there, none of them should get a cent from us.

We ran a surplus in 2001

You've just been conditioned to think that it's impossible for things to ever be better

GDP is 3.8%.

For 2024 it was 2.8%

Inflation is lower than anytime under Biden.

Gas prices are lower than anytime under Biden.

This is what the democrats did though.

I don’t know where republicans got the idea that Biden hasn’t been pro Israel his entire career. The far left was calling him genocide Joe for a reason.

Fundamentally accurate. If our system continues to provide a terrible future to the younger generation, then they're going to rebel.

If we want to save capitalism, we have to reduce the growing disparity between the very rich and the middle class.

6.5% inflation per year under Biden.

Currently wages are outpacing inflation.

I know you want to get back to this but the rest of us don’t.

Biden inherited Trumps inflation from 2020.

Then proceeded to make it worse. So far, Trump is doing the same.

They grew at double the rate under Biden.

People don’t realize how much we got fricked under the last administration.

But you can thank Trump your wages are finally outpacing inflation. And your gas prices are the lowest it’s been since any of your memories go back.

You’ve only had a few months of wages outpacing inflation vs 4 years of inflation outpacing wages.

Rome wasn’t built in a day.

Correct

But to be fair inflation was going to be inevitable after 2020 so I'm not quick to throw stones at either of them and doing so is just partisan dumb frickery
