Latest Peak

.........Pop..vax%.Cases*Deaths*
Ala,,,...5m...36%....3680....25
Israel...9m...80%....6990....21

* 7 Day moving average

Obesity Rates

Israel 26%
Alabama. 36%

Over 65 years of age

Israel 10.5%
Alabama. 17%

The last peak in Israel pre vax was 8600 new cases 7 day moving avg. and 65 deaths 7 day moving avg. That was Jan 2021

The last peak in Alabama pre vax was 4272 new cases 7 day moving avg and 154 deaths 7 day moving avg. That was Jan 2021.

Conclusion?

The case rate hasn't dropped much in either place it appears... Post vax. The death rate is lower both places, but much lower in Alabama, dropping 500% post vax, vs 260% in Israel.

Why would the death rate in Alabama drop more with such a low vax rate?

Better therapeutics?
Delta Variant is less deadly?

Regardless, it seems to challenge the hypotheses that the vaccine mitigates severity of illness. Just as the number of cases show that the vaccine does not seem to slow infections. Otherwise, why would the mortality rate drop substantially more in Alabama post vax? It must be that the Delta strain is the reason for the mortality drop both places and not the vax, and that lower mortality rates attributed to the vaccine are really due to changes in the strain.

The numbers from Israel also show that the US numbers have to be being manipulated. Otherwise, why wouldn't Israels number be much lower than they were before vax.

When you stop trying to make any sense out of bullshite statistics you will be free.

If you're watching your tv we're in a global pandemic. If you throw your tv out of the window it's just another Friday.

It's really that simple.

If I'm wrong set me straight. I used Alabama because Alabama has the lowest vaccinated rare in the US while Israel is almost fully vacinated.

You can throw out the number of cases from your equation. Number of cases is determined by a PCR test, which the CDC is going to stop allowing in December because it can’t differentiate between Covid and the flu or common cold (per the CDC).

CDC lab alert

quote:

In preparation for this change, CDC recommends clinical laboratories and testing sites that have been using the CDC 2019-nCoV RT-PCR assay select and begin their transition to another FDA-authorized COVID-19 test. CDC encourages laboratories to consider adoption of a multiplexed method that can facilitate detection and differentiation of SARS-CoV-2 and influenza viruses.

So the cases reported are bogus. The PCR test gives a false Covid positive result for flu or other illnesses.

You are not wrong. I'm not vaccinated. But here is something to think about. I recovered from covid a year ago and I still have antibodies as of a blood test in June. I suspect that there are a lot of people like me.

Right, but cases are almost as high now as they were before the vax.

If that's true, then the question still remains why the greater drop in death rate in Alabama post vax when Israel is "fully vacinated" and Alabama is the worst in the country at vaccinations?

Simple. Because deaths from the vaccine are recorded as COVID deaths as long as there is a positive “test.” Because Israel is more vaccinated, they have more deaths.

I don't think the vax is working as well as they claim. Besides, a virus is gonna virus. We can't stop it, really. Not as long as it also has hosts in the animal kingdom as well. But it will go away in time, they always do.
Did we have to have a vax for SARS-COV or MERS? Nope. Corona viruses eventually mutate themselves out of the human population.

I agree with you 100%. But look at it this way.

Israel has about 1.8 million unvaxed

Alabama has about 3 million unvaxed.

Yet the deaths are basically equal.

Assume all the hospitalizations are unvaxed. Why would the deaths be almost equal? There should be many more deaths in Alabama because the unvaxed pop is 66% greater and they are older and fatter!

But Israel’s rate isn’t much better than unvacc’d Alabama. We have the raw data right there in OP.

I agree that this is more evidence that the vaccine isn’t as effective as we’re being told by our “betters”, and is being propped up by the usual Deep State bias and gaslighting

That's why we hear about Jessie Jackson and his wife, fully vaxed, are in critical condition and all these anticdotal reports of vaccinated deaths. That is the truth. Whereas the 99% talk is a lie.

These are evil mothers.

Alabama has an unusually large time lag between death and reporting to the state. It is on average 2 weeks. Israel is almost real time.

Don't know why Alabama is so slow, but they mention that on their own web site.

You think if Trump was still president the numbers would be that low?
