It’s very simple where we immediately diverge, in a big way. Starts us down vastly different paths. I happen to believe that there are a number of areas and aspects of the geopolitical landscape over there that can even be viewed as more self-serving than it is “supporting Israel.” Absolutely I do believe that we have certain arrangements and strategies and agendas over there primarily intended to have some “down range” effect on is over here, or perhaps avoid some down range avoidance of an effect at home, as it were in some instances. There are a number of them. Critical shipping lanes and territory vital to the stability of the world economy. Can’t take too much more damage in that regard amirite? World economy. Yes, America First, but that isn’t merely restricted to our legal offshore boundaries around the country, no more than 20ish miles off our shores. Things on the other side of the world affect us here personally too.
Then what I find to be the biggest consideration - the likelihood of Iran and its subsidiaries and allies having biblically ill will towards Americans which are located mostly right here in America. Iran gaining more and more foothold in the ME would completely destroy the already highly sensitive and volatile “balance of power” in the ME. Saudi Arabia would become vulnerable. Our few little Persian Gulf buddies that allow us military reach to Iran. All gone. All kinds of shite we’d much rather not happen…..for our own purposes, not merely Israel’s.

It’s absolutely ridiculous to label someone that simply because they disagree with prioritizing another country over our own. The state of Israel was founded in 1946. They have atomic weapons, the Iron Dome and decades of our support. They can take care of themselves at this point and God speed to them getting their victory.
But it’s time to cut ties and take care of our people back at home. I guarantee you the mentally ill veterans roaming the streets and the folks in North Carolina could use it.
