I wasn’t exactly going in that heavy handed, not to say their entire planning process hinges on the outcome of an American election. But to suggest that this particular American election is of little significance in the grand scheme of Israel’s contingency planning, that’s quite a reach. This whole Israel affair since 10/7 has been completely bizarre - I guess I was wrong all along insofar as the average American supported that country specifically in certain areas and on certain subjects - did you, or whoever else this question may be relevant to, espouse these negative sentiments about Israel, say, five or six years ago?

Personally, I got no problem making it known that I support Israel in a certain “set” of ways, and I’ve thought it through backwards and forwards and couldn’t be more confident and comfortable with my apparently “unique” views on the topic. I probably needn’t mention that I find many of the viewpoints espoused here on the topic to be woeful in their conception. Doesn’t mean I don’t respect the fact that we each have equally valid opinions, I just think mine are better. Lol
