I bet they would not avoid arresting a guy 39 times because they wanted to keep their arrests of Hispanic juveniles in line with their arrests of white people.

There was an armed guard on campus during this shooting. Problem is that it was a huge campus for a high school and one guard obviously was not enough. Hell, I don't even know what the guard did. Did he run away or was he shot? Anyone know?
If you're going to do this you need more than a low pay rent a cop. You're going to need a real strategy of locking the school down and closely monitoring anyone entering or exiting at all times. You need armed guards at every entry point into the school and you need some provision that makes it difficult for them to be ambushed.
IMO we need a TSA for schools.

If the citizens of the school district want it they can raise the money. Let the local gun shop sponsor the guard or maybe the billionaires who control the teachers unions money can make a donation.

Just put off-duty police officers at the schools. I worked for an ATM company and those guys would guard us when working on machines, and worked shifts at bars, casinos, and Wal-Marts.

for most of the leftist educational establishment, having guns in private hands is worse than school shootings. So they are willing to tolerate the latter to accomplish the former goal.
Alternative suggestion: get rid of public schools as they currently exist. Technology hss reached the point now where all this can be done online. Testing can be done at commercial testing centers like professional testing is done currently.
The nation would save billions not having to build and police public school campises. Yout property taxes would plummet.

You think cops are going to stop school shootings? The fed has given schools hundreds of millions for cops to work on campuses. No effect. The there were two cops in this most recent high school. No effect.
