Is Trump the next Hitler?

We hear it all the time from the protesters and college students. I think it is best to ask people who actually lived in Nazi Germany. I had a very nice 3+ hour discussion with an 80+ year old lady that remembers not only WWII, but everything leading up to it. She relayed a very similar opinion to that of Inga Andrews, who is interviewed here.

My conversation didn't get into the college campus aspect as much, but she did describe the stifling of free speech and ridicule of diverse opinion.
I think the Left is a giant case study in the psychological phenomenon knows as projection. Sometimes it is an intentional tactic, but often times(as in now) is a manifestation of fear… they are scared that someone will trample their rights because that is what they would do to their opponents given the opportunity.

In 4 or 8 years, all the "hitler! Dictator!" Cries are going to look silly and histrionic. More so than they do now.

Well Hitler did tell the rest of the world to F-off, not gonna pay war reparations anymore, re-invested all foreign payments into domestic companies for domestic growth and prosperity promises, told leftist Europeans to go screw themselves, sold the nation on the promise of every citizen has a job...
So since Trump doesn't seem like someone who wants to conquer Europe by war out of a vendetta...Trump could keep doing what he's doing apart from that whole war thing and people can still call him Hitler.

Trump by all accounts is intent on shrinking it. Reference the EO on regulations and freezing of government employees
Hitler worked to subvert the rights of free speech, assembly, and the right to bear arms.
Trump has ruled via EO that when bureaucrats who are administering and enforcing the law have discretion with respect to the time, place, manner and severity of its enforcement, should exercise that discretion in favor of individuals and against the government. Pretty Fascist if you ask me /s

My grandmother was German and grew up Nazi Germany and moved to the US after WW2. You couldn't criticize the government in Nazi Germany, not unless you wanted the Gestapo knocking on your door.
