Simple Solution is to remove race from collegiate institutions altogether. Matter of fact, make it optional for Universities under the conditions that they must reveal their recruitment status every 4 years.
This way the public knows who discriminates and who doesn't. I'm Black and I support this.
But here's a tip Tbird, even if they implemented a system like this, people would still find a reason to complain.

I’ll take it one further. Any application (job, school) should be void of name/race/age to the person receiving the application until the decision is made.
Someone’s name/age/sex/ethnicity should have zero to do with if they get hired for a job or accepted to school.

What a moronic statement but this is the logic that follows when you stop thinking of people as people and start thinking of them as monolithic groups.
Just because those in power are mostly white men doesn't mean that it logically follows that all white men have power or influence.
Think about what you just said. Your argument, at face value, claims that the children of out of work, drug addicted, poor, white people in Appalachia, have more "opportunity" than children from black, upper middle class parents. You've reached this conclusion by assigning people to Group A or Group B by using nothing but the color of their skin.
Although the fact that you can even make that argument with a straight face makes you sound like the product of incredible privilege.

Here's a very likely scenario.
More East Asian and Middle Eastern would get into our Universities. They would dominate fields in STEM and Medicine even more than they do now.
Whites that meet requirements would get. Blacks and Hispanics that meet requirements would get in.
Borderline applications would be put on a waiting list after determining which students are assured entry, scholarships granted, etc.
This would be a good time to beef up your vocational programs. Since were going by the book, many people will have to take alternative educational routes. But as long as these are vocations with marketable skills, your good.
Nobody wants to admit the 2nd Elephant in the room. White men overall are enrolling in lower numbers at Universities. Also there are Blacks who meet the requirements to get into state schools legitimately.
The number of low SAT score Blacks getting accepted in schools like LSU, far less the Ivies, is very small outside athletic programs.
Which then begs the question : is it really the admissions that's the problem or the bloated athletic system?
