Truth is that Trump has made a bold call. It's probably high risk-moderately high reward.
He was given a shite sandwich by Obama, and many well-intentioned experts have told him so, but have also told him that discarding the shite sandwich is pretty problematic.
What happens now will be a big part of his legacy, and I hope he exceeds all of our wildest expectations.

A little bit more complex than that
Good for us b/c we got out of a bad deal plain and simple
Bad for Iran which is good for Israel
Good for Saudi Arabia which is good for no one
Good for Russia b/c they will try and insert themselves more in the region. But might end up bad for them in the long run.
Good for Israel which can be bad for us b/c an embolden Israel can lead to war, which will no doubt involve us.

Why are these pansies surprised? Trump did exactly what he said he was going to do. I don't get the surprise from the sky screamers.

How is it good for the US?
Trump fulfilled a campaign promise
Iran wanted out. They already got their $100 billion
Gas prices go up
Israel is happy
Europe is pissed at the US and continue to trade with Iran
One of North Korea’s strongest allies can share secrets
What does the US get out of this?

An interesting analysis: Why Trump is right to pull out of the Iran nuclear deal (Vox)

What is crazy is that he campaigned on a primarily domestic agenda, and his biggest moves have been FP related.
what happens with NK and Iran will be his legacy, maybe the courts depending on what happens in the fall. Everything else will likely be forgotten.

I’ve asked in the thread and no one really knows how abandoning the Iran deal helps the US.
I read the interview on VOX from Sean Illing and they don’t really know. They just have theories on how it could help.
Hezbollah, North Korea, Russia, China, and Shia around the world are happy.
Does anybody know how this helps the US?
