We have systemic problem within our Olympic organization that may or may not include your thoughts..
We expect results but don’t invest in the ground floor of training that leads to continued success.. There is no good reason we don’t compete in every speed skating event, we should be medaling in every discipline.. we lack the go frick yourself athletes in most sports.. We have athletes proclaiming great things, only to bail when the schedule gets tough..
On a political side, Trump should take this on in both the summer and winter game as a way to bolster our brand as being the best

As we saw with Tonya Harding, though, I bet ice skating, like gymnastics and other sports with subjective scoring, can "weed out" undesirables.
