WTF?

They are displaying why it's so important to keep discussions on point. A major trait of MAGA online is to create multiple digressions until they can get an echo chamber talking point as the focus. Why they rely on whataboutism so much as a default response.

They're not able to actually discuss policy or ideas. They can only repeat NPC talking points and have to force the discussion there.

Progs love restricting rights to feel secure.

Natural rights are natural rights. Legal rights are legal rights.

Youre advocating for more legal rights to be restricted.

Literally irrelevant to a discussion about rights

Not even on a basic level.

This is why the opposition stays a step ahead of their influencers. They focus on irrelevant crap.

Show me your work where non-citizens don't enjoy the protections of our Constitution (that aren't specifically delegated to citizens).

I'm a big defender of property rights.

Are we now going to discuss non-citizens owning property in the US?

there is actually nothing underlying Trumpism other than whatever Trump says today, which might be totally different from what he says tomorrow, and different from what he says the day after that. It is ritual humiliation.

No, we’re going to talk about how criminal illegals trespass on citizens property, destroy their property, and steal their property. But a citizen’s rights are secondary to a criminal illegal, right?

Even if convicted, this conviction (trespassing) would not prevent gun ownership.

destroy their property, and steal their property.

More crimes that likely wouldn't prevent gun ownership if convicted.

Also, note: these examples have nothing to do with this discussion.

No. Those homeowners have their 2A rights independently (to get this thread back on track and off your digression)

How are citizens getting screwed by this ruling?

I see it the opposite way, in fact. Seems like it validates natural right to self defense.

He's trying to steer this away from the actual discussion via digression so he can jump on NPC talking points.

We should be celebrating that even liberal courts are now defending our 2A rights.

Thats my take. The language mirrors some statements 2A supporters have expressed over the years and appears to validate them.

I see this as a big win myself.

I guess the old argument that "More gun ownership means less crime" is no longer made in certain circles.
