Or are we under mob rule already? It sure seems like it sometimes, the fricking GOP is a bunch of nutless wonders and don't fight dirty like the left.
fricking insider trading bitch Pelosi and Schumer are destroying this country.
We aren't a frickING DEMOCRACY.

The theory is the corrupt SCOTUS would be the last line but who knows if they will actually follow the letter of The Constitution.

I gave up on the pricks in SCOTUS

No. The States are.
But if they kill the filibuster in order to pass through voting legislation I honestly think it’s time to withdraw from the union

I’ll make a prediction and not really a bold prediction. If the USSC/vaccine mandate and the filibuster goes the way of the authoritarians I’m gonna say some level of shite starts hitting the fan as the America First pushback really starts to kick in. If there’s no pushback y’all best hunker down because America First is probably dead as a movement and we’re on the domestic terrorism list.

the fate of every democracy is mob rule that appeals to the lowest common denominator.

If it passes, you won’t have to worry about the nutless GOP. The Democrats will have an iron grip and the GOP will be extinct, at least on the national scene.

The Constitution was structured to protect against the tyranny of the majority and to make sure there was a virtuous and vested electorate. The filibuster was an instituonal protection.

The filibuster rule isn't even Constitutional per se
It is just a rule the Senate made up over 100 years later
Constitutionally the Senate only ever needed a simple majority to pass legislation and confirmations

Packing the court.
Ending the filibuster.
Expanding the senate.
Passing the Voting Fraud Act.
Barring political opponents.
Any of these could mean dictatorship because it would lead to a domino effect of takeover by the regressives.
