I agree it’s tough when your own party can’t even get the legislation to your desk.

Dems vote lock step. GOP does not.

It’s a spending problem, dummy. You keep trying to say it’s the fault of tax cuts. I’m all for cutting spending. You?

And this is the best the Republicans can offer with complete control over the reins of goverment. The GOP will be the minority party for as far as the eye can see, even without any further immigration.

1. Healthcare insurance

2. Trump is wildly unpopular in many places.

3. Many voters felt that Trump and his minions need legit oversight.

4. Lots of Repub US Reps retired BECAUSE OF TRUMP-RELATED ISSUES and the fact they would have lost if they tried to run again.

People were frustrated with Obamacare and Trump said it would be replaced with something better. Then the republican shite show on healthcare began. There was no plan. They tried to make it worse and actively worked to sabotage it, then just stopped.

So, if healthcare is important to you and your family, would you have any faith in Trump or the congressional republicans?

Also, don’t underestimate that to many, many people Trump is toxic. But on the national level, obedience to his bullshite is being demanded.

If Trump turns you off, would you vote to expand his power?

If the republicans continue to promote Trump through the next cycle, they will get hammered again.

Health care was the number one issue for voters. They will vote for anyone who says they can lower costs and give them better care.

The GOP refused to treat it like a major issue except for their highly publicized clusterfrick that everyone hated, including everyone who voted for it.

The GOPes didn't want to govern, so they paid the price.

Socialism and the Entitlement Mentality has taken over baw. People want free, and they believe the democrats are more likely to give it to them. Last time I checked 47% of folks in this country were on some kind of government handout. There's your democrat base....47%. Think about that for a minute.

This country is screwed.

well coming out of a recession probably had a lot to do with that

reality is that if it were possible.. Obama would have been elected for a 3rd term

And? Trump is outperforming him. This doesn’t make the point you are wanting to.

Everybody knows why the left does not support voter id.

You can define fraud to a liberal and they ignore it so they can have non citizens vote which we and they know its a fraud. They have back up votes with no signatures or signatures from dead people available just in case they need to add votes to win. But that's not fraud to them for the sake of their argument. I know we all see that.

I wonder how many of the Rs who got replaced by Ds voted to keep ObamaCare?

The Rs lost the house because they didn’t dance with the one who brung them.

me too. However Trump campaigned on increasing defense and war spending.

I agree Cut everything by the same small percentage. In a few years we will be paying down the debt.
