Israel has an intelligence service that rivals anything in Western Europe, and they have no peer in the Middle East. Israeli Intelligence actually has moles in Iran. They know every single thing that goes on the in the Middle East, but we're somehow supposed to believe that they had no idea Hamas was planning this attack?

Evangelicals want war in Israel. They believe it will bring the second coming of Christ and the rapture or whatever else, and when that happens, they believe they're the only ones who get to go Heaven.
War in Israel is a glorious thought for them.

I'm not sure why you're insisting on being intentionally stupid. I never said they definitely allowed it. I'm saying that it's at least plausible.
Their disproportionate response might be evidence that this is a plausible scenario.

Where on earth did you get that nonsense from? Are there SOME... there's nutjobs in every group.. sure... but by and large, that's simply not true. You, of course, know this, but it doesn't fit with your apparent viewpoint on both Christianity and Israel.
