also, there’s been public gatherings since the war started (albeit to honor the ayatollah). people are not afraid of getting hit by a bomb; they are afraid of getting shot by the IRGC.

Kinda considering all the videos leaking out of Iran right now. Don't know if tonight's the night, but there's whole cities that the IRGC have abandoned and the locals taken over their facilities. Have been for days.

1). The guy who posted 100k has absolutely no idea whether his number is right or not.
2) It’s not as “lot” as it was 19 days ago. And now that we don’t have to worry about our planes and can bring in things like warthogs it’s going to be a lot less “lot” in another 19 days
3) in a country of 90million with this geographic size “a lot” is a relative term
4) if some faction of this lot begins to not be paid to kill their own citizens and decides to,lay down their arms and go home the tipping point to not a lot isn’t far. If, even better, they decide to move to the side of the people (while maintaining their weapon) the delta created will move the “lot” number in a hurry
5) if citizens are able to continue to report their position….. no it’s not a lot. Unlike the leadership in order for them to “do their job” they will need to stay out in the open.

Here’s a question for you. If this “a lot” gets cut down by say 50-75% in the next month or 2. Do you think the govt is in a position to replace them with competent replacements.
