I Google'd it. Iran is the only government that has claimed this. No other governments have verified thus far, none of the companies who own the vessels have responded to comment. Therefore ... no independent verification.

This whole thing is a disaster. We're now reduced to playing cat and mouse with ships after six weeks. I've seen a few guys say the fuel and fertilizer slowdown already baked is going to put the global economy on the brink. A couple of more weeks of blockade and grab your butts.
