Correct. There is no logical good outcome here.
Nuke them: We nuke a country to keep them from getting nukes? Kill millions of civilians…does that even solve any problem?
Ground invasion: See Iraq and Afghanistan
Pull Stakes & Head home: Straits remain totally under control on Iran, America looks weak…
Iran has no incentive to negotiate…Hell, who even has the actual power to negotiate for Iran?
