For the younger folks on this board, that was a BEAUTIFUL response by Ronaldus Magnus. Gaddafi was effectively neutered for life after Reagan bombed his personal quarters and I think the bombing mission killed some members of his family. He never really fricked with the United States again.
teke, I would add this: if they persist, turn their governmental infrastructure into piles of rubble and dust as well.

Ok, from what I'm gathering, it sounds like they shot missiles at the US forces at the airport. US Helis then shot back at the two SUVs carrying those who shot at the airport, killing their relations director.

Yes they are.
As far as Iran is concerned, we gotta figure the ultimate goal is to pull troops out of there. So whatever Iran is up to in all of this seems to indicate they would actually rather see our troops remain there despite what they may say outwardly.
Trump has said before we are going to start using exotic technology. This would be a great situation to do so. A quick, efficient display of superior tech, then a quick pull out of the area with nobody daring to say a fricking word about it.

So, were these missiles launched by Iranian national forces from Iranian soil? Or was this Hezbollah? Because the proper way to respond to the two are different.

The French wouldn’t let us fly over their airspace and a bomb “accidentally” came off the rail over downtown Tripoli and went through the front door of the French Embassy. It was the only building damaged in that area. Oops!
