Trump called their bluff and took out their chief butcher and Iran responded by bombing some "equipment", AND they let us know what they were getting ready to do!
It'll be interesting to see how the MSM and dims are going to try to spin this.

Exactly. And now Iran knows if their proxies act out against US interests again, we do this all over again, except an order of magnitude worse.

At some point they will hopefully focus on their domestic problems and not trying to implant their militias at every shite hole between them and Isreal (predominantly in Iraq and Syria). They will never stop that nonsense.
Iran was a semi-progressive country until about 50 years ago.

In retaliation for the strike on Soleimani, Iran has:
-killed 30 people in a funeral stampede
-shot down a foreign airliner
-Shot 16 missiles at a US base that killed no Americans and 4 of which misfired
-Forced Europeans to re-evaluate nuke deal
-Flew Soleimani home in a beer cooler in seats 32D and 32E

Would be something if he was getting to big for someone in Iran to handle and this led to leaked intel and another country taking him out to keep their hands clean

It's clear Gen Salimanyparts had become unhinged and emboldened enough to personally lead expeditions against American interests.
Iraqi politicians (not the Mullahs) knew this leads to no where fast.
Their economy was on life support and Saleimaniparts had resorted to killing their own citizens in the streets.
Methinks they knew the end was imminent and they took a way out that allowed then to retain power and save face.
