Interesting Overlooked Statement, from Blasey's Ex-BF, ETA: Best College Friend

Earlier in this smear campaign, the WSJ interviewed Brian Merrick, who was in an 8 year relationship with Blasey from 1991-1999, reporting:

Kind of odd IMO.
ETA: Also her best college friend (added at bottom of P. 2):

At no point in their relationship did she mention an incident involving Judge Kavanaugh—whose name he had never heard before—or any case of sexual assault.

It's totally believable that she didn't mention this to an 8 year boyfriend but did mention it to a random lady at a pizzeria and her kid's baseball coach.

This is so ridiculously irrelevant. But so is all this nonsense. I'm so fed up with this fiasco. Wish McCain could have died last week that was more intereesting, less frustrating news watching.

She can't control when suppressed traumatic memories surface. While Kavanaugh was toiling in anonymity as a lower-level judge things were fine. But once he was nominated for the highest court in the land the dormant memories were awakened....
