He broke the law and damaged American security. He accomplished jackshit except feed his own narcissism. Let him choke on it in fricking Russia.
That's a pretty lazy take on this subject IMO.

You can go do your own research because I think you'll find it interesting. But I will say that Michael Hayden's analysis, the DIA assessment, and a couple of others are a good start.

No moreso than the slobbering pablum, disguised as righteous indignation at our "overreaching" government, that has been mouthed by this a-hole's admirers.

Did he talk about being a spy with the CIA, DIA and FBI? or was it the NAACP or UNCF.
Mr. Snowden is at about 14:45

So you're comfortable with being on their level?

I will say he's caused the intelligence community an awful lot of headaches and made it harder for them to do their jobs.

So, government having direct access to your every communication is NOT overreach? You've got to be naive as a mofo to believe this kind of data collection isn't a jackpot for powerful people who would like to coerce/blackmail other people.
I don't trust government as far as I can throw them... and Snowden confirmed our suspicions.

I don't admire the guy. I appreciate what he helped bring to light though.
I'll bet if Bush were still in office that the left would support the hell out of Snowden.

So what? So what if it's harder for them to do their jobs if the easy way was so grossly against the basic rights of US citizens?
And VOR, I HAVE done my own research. I'm asking YOU to provide specific examples to back up your assertion.

Yep. I'd call casting that wide of a net pure laziness.

Your ignorance is quite amusing. By making it harder for the intel community to do their jobs, you are making it easier for Americans to get killed.

They make it easier for Americans to get killed by spying on Americans instead of the enemy.

The only difference is the police are inconveniencing everyone with their stops. The NSA on the other hand is searching your car while it's parked in your garage and your asleep.

Your ignorance and complacency would be amusing if it wasn't so dangerous. Our government is collecting and asserting power - a very broad and intrusive power - without citizens' consent. Americans can't give consent to such power because we don't fully know what powers they have collected for them selves and we wouldn't know as much as we do now without Snowden. Many more Americans are at risk when the government is allowed to collect any private info they want - and even more of what they don't want know but will hold on to in case they ever decide they need it - and use it in any way they choose in the collective name of "National Security."
What a lazy arse response - headaches, nameless imaginary Americans might get killed, name calling. Get that shite out of here.

You're under the assumption that Snowdengate only effects the so-called domestic spy program. How foolish.

You get your shite out of here. I'm a sailor in the U.S. Navy and am part of the community you so vehemently hate. Snowden's leaks go well beyond the so-called domestic surveillance program. That is 100% *fact*.
