Wouldn't all of the insiders already have known this individual? It's not like he would have been some random member now cooperating with authorities. There is a long history and paper trail with him.

Doubt he will be killed, as I'm sure anyone who would want to and had the means already knew his name. This may be the start of a smear campaign. Every skeleton will be discussed and he will have 20 women accusing him of rape by the end of the weekend.
