Total/accumulated inflation over the past 3 years is easily 25-30%

Shocking that cutting rates when according to the Feds own metrics/prior comments it was still premature, is going to be inflationary.
Its clear that many of you dont know how to read the report

Why read it? I see about the same amount of truthful information as I see on my used toilet paper

Posted on 10/10/24 at 10:12 am to minister of truth
Because you responded to a poster that believes the headline with bingo
Good grief

They even said the economy was at "maximum employment" after announcing the 50 bps cut.
The economy isn't working, we've been borrowing and manipulating at full employment for 15 years
In classic economics, that's an econ.y that doesn't work.
"Growing" the economy at full employment is how you end up with ope borders.

I don’t believe anything coming from the federal bureaucracy. It wasn’t expected to be under control. They know inflation has not been adequately suppressed. It was a completely political move to cut rates. I said we’re going to see “resurgence” (wink wink) of inflation after the cut. Not that I believe the cut was the stimulus but rather inflation was still a problem. Of course it’s only transitory /s

Regarding employment numbers.
Illegals were given SS# so when they go to work they are jobs added. But they arent in the "denominator" of that equation because they are not citizens counted in the census (very few, particularly since the census was a few years ago).
So they would be counted in jobs added AND reduce the overall percentage of unemployed.
Is the federal government just pretending 11 million more illegals arent having any impact on the economy, particularly the detrimental effect on employment?
