World would be a better place if we were all a little more forgiving and kind. IIRC, Mr Cafaro parents are both deceased. Trump probably just wanted to help him out a bit given his circumstance.

Yeah, because the Left are so petty that they have been sabotaging the reflecting pool. From workers carving "8647" into the bottom of the pool to activists dumping contaminates into the water to encourage algea blooms. Then the Left tries to use it as an example of how the Trump administration is "incompetent". The Left are so petty and pathetic that they see this as a win.

So, to understand. In the middle of the day, pool vandalizing anarchists descend in numbers so great that the already large normal police presence at the national mall cannot handle them. The anarchists plan, ostensibly, is to damage to the pool in broad daylight and hope that the blame for the failures are then placed on Trump and his contractor?
Also, I'm going to need to be educated on how a properly applied sealant can be pulled from the substrate like an old rug.
