In NJ permit office is closed so can't run gas to deck and new grill

You have it backwards....now is the time to do it without paying for a permit. Do it quickly.

Down South,we don't ask.We just do it.

Check for leaks with a soapy water solution.Make sure there are no bubbles.

What's the worse that can happen? They tell you to stop? And that's if they have the energy to get off their arse and find you.

if you know a contractor that you trust to do it; then go ahead and pay the man under the table

all they can do is fine you IF they ever find out about it...
