Well then maybe I'll just start advocating taxing the frick out of everything you earn in retaliation.
Well, thief, that is one of two options we have.
We either massively raise taxes (double them or more) or we MASSIVELY cut the Ponzi scheme.
We have less than 20 years before our ENTIRE BUDGET is spent on 4 items.
Interest, Medicare, Medicaid, and SOCIAL SECURITY being the largest waste of tax dollars of them all.

earned benefits
This is your first problem.

and then flippantly calling it welfare is fricking inflammatory.
You pay taxes to fund others. Classic redistributive welfare program.
quote:
Then to suggest that the people who's retirement you advocate stealing are actually losing nothing because they would have "spent" the money had it not been confiscated by force... this tells me you are a psychopath.
Holy straw man.
quote:
There is no distinction between what you are advocating and those who advocate seizing all or part of 401k accounts

And it is this scorched earth attitude will get you more than you bargain for. If accounts receivable are now "welfare", and thus, negotiable in your eyes, then so be it. Let everything be negotiable including your assets, your business, even the roof over your head.
Proving my point that everyone hates welfare until they're about to receive welfare.

If they had let me keep and invest my money from the get-go, I’d be comfortable in retirement right now and they wouldn’t owe me a cent.

Don't sit here an bitch about Social Security which hard working people have actually paid in to. You should be more worried about welfare and illegal immigrants waltzing their asses across the border getting billions of government help because they broke the law from the start.

. And though they will receive more in Medicare and Social Security benefits than they paid for,
Let me borrow 5k from you for 50 years and in 2073 I'll pay you back 6k.
Deal?
Putz.

You paid 5k in taxes to fund a welfare program you expect to receive benefits from in 50 years funded by taxes from younger people.

Ironically enough they’re the ones who might actually pump one last gasp of life into the Ponzi scheme.
Native US replacement is at around 1.6-1.7. The US would be LOSING population right now if it weren’t for immigration.
We don’t have the youth to support the Ponzi scheme as it is so the influx of migrants who have a bunch of kids will, for a few years, pump a little more tax revenue into the system once they get their work permits. (This is not an advocation for illegal immigrants, frick those sum bitches)

Better than the deal I’m getting, cock sucker.
Here, pay 7 percent of your paycheck into a fund YOU WILL NEVER GET A PENNY FROM

It's funded by young people because the government stole the contributions and now they are taking from you to cover their crime.
Your problem is with Washington D.C. Maybe your generation should stop sucking their dick.

There is a big hump with the boomer population, but if we can survive that, the numbers get more palatable.
I'm not commenting on the illegal immigrant commentary, just saying the boomers are a huge drain on the system but even with population replacement issues, we can afford Gen X and Millennials IF we can survive the cost of the boomers

People retiring today are not baby boomers. Get you facts straight.

He didn’t say that. He said there is a large jump in pop with the boomers. Which there is.
Take your brain pill, grandpa, your comprehension isn’t on par today.
So you willing to switch your deal for mine? I’ll gladly take the deal you proposed in exchange for the deal I’m getting.

If they're in their 60s and retiring, they are boomers.
The youngest boomers are about 60 on the dot.
Also, boomers are the dominant population receiving SS benefits, and will be for about 30 years.

By who's calculation?
I can guarantee the source putting out this BS has never considered if all the Social Security and Medicare taxes a person working +40 years contributes along with their employer's match is compounded with a 5% interest rate they would find a lot of retirees never get 60-70% of their money back

Haven't you heard? The "millennials" think ss is a welfare check.
