Here is Tucker's monologue from last night. That dude is making way too much sense. Scary times indeed.

quote:

A year from now -- and we should think about this -- how will all of us feel about the decisions we've made in the face of this pandemic? Is there a single person who sincerely expects the coronavirus itself will hurt more people in the end than the damage we're causing in our response to it? Probably not.

Tucker was the one calling this the biggest existential threat to humanity in the history of the planet before anyone else. I like Tucker but he's trying to play both sides of the fence on this one.

Tucker merely said it should be taken seriously.

Read, or watch his monologue. Show me where you disagree.

Oh no. He did not “merely” say. I saw the show where he was all but jumping up and down with real alarm over the approaching Covid threat and what he then thought was the lax ho-hum govt response.

He takes perspectives...relaying the importance of coronavirus but also at what point is the economy getting destroyed.

He has been shining light in this time of shite journalism.

His basic theory is what I think a lot of us want. If your old or have preexisting conditions...stay home. If you feel uncomfortable about going to an office...stay home. Otherwise let everyone go to work.

I'd love to be at work, but there a decent chance I'm getting my walking papers in the next couple weeks per an email yesterday...so maybe not.

Title implies that a person might actually INTEND to watch Carl Tuckerson.

Its not one or the other.

You can stress the importance without agreeing to shut down the country and ruin the economy.
Just my opinion.

Stay ignorant and continue to display it. That way, we don't have to guess who to dismiss.

People will twist themselves into pretzels to justify this shutdown, as well as others to come. A hallmark of authoritarian people is that they're never wrong. A hallmark of the sheep who follow them is that their leaders can't be wrong.

It’s something to think about, but we have done a lot to stop a lot of misery and death.
Ask Tucker what would have happened if we kept business as usual. That’s a question that none of us can answer. We saved lives, we kept folks from getting sick and lessened the impact of the virus. How much? No one really knows.

Yeah, it's not like it's two of the top 10 most watched cable news shows thus far this week or anything. Well, except that it is.

Tucker was the main one spouting this shutdown BS from the beginning.
